Lodging Policies
Guests should read and follow these policies
General
Arrival Time: Check in time is between 3-6 pm.
We certainly know life sometimes doesn’t allow you get here at a specific time so we can accommodate a late arrival as long as you arrange it in advance. Just let us know what time you will arrive and we can arrange your late check in.
Please understand we are unable to accommodate any early check-ins due to housekeeping and errands. If we are unable to be at the Inn to check you in we will make alternative arrangements with you.
Departure Time: Check out time is 11 am.
We certainly appreciate you respecting this time as it allows us time to get your room ready for the next guest.
Occupancy: Maximum 2 persons per guest room.
Pets: Sorry we cannot accommodate your pets.
Children: We are not able to accept children under the age of 12.
Parking: There is off street parking for three cars off Church Street. There is also street parking on Church and Fifteenth Streets.
Smoking Policy: We are a non-smoking inn.
If you wish to smoke, you are welcome to do so in the garden. Because of the rough log surfaces and historic finishes cleaning smoke from the surfaces is extremely tedious and expensive. Smoking inside is subject to a minimum cleaning fee of $500.
Quiet Time: Between 10 pm and 7 am is designated “quiet time” in the house.
Guests will cooperate to ensure a peaceful environment conducive to relaxation and sleeping.
In House Guests: Due to insurance restrictions, only paying guests may use the house and outdoor areas.
Security: Our accommodations are very safe, but guests assume responsibility for securing their valuable and personal items.
Priority is given to protecting the privacy of guests, however, the owners reserve the right of access to rooms for maintenance and safety purposes.
Damages: We expect normal wear and tear, however, serious damages to our building, furniture, and linens such as makeup stains may result in a charge for repair or cleaning.
Cancellation Policies
We understand that unexpected events can occur, and will work with you as much as possible but please understand we are a small Inn and last minute cancellations adversely affect us.
- A $25.00 service charge per room will be applied to all cancellations.
- Due to limited availability which requires us to turn guests away once a room is blocked out, cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook; no exceptions.
- Holidays and Fall season cancellations received less than 14 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price unless we can rebook.
- We will not attempt to rebook your room should you cancel your reservation on the day of your arrival.
- During the winter months, should we incur inclement weather which create unsafe road conditions, you can either reschedule or cancel your reservation without penalty.
- No Shows, that is not notifying us at all, will be charged the entire reservation price.
Payment
- Rooms are guaranteed with a deposit equal to 1 night stay held by credit card.
- The balance due is payable at check in.
- All reservations require a valid credit card.
- We accept most major credit cards.
